Promoting Aboriginal Workforce Engagement
IES enviro-scapes currently has a team of over 20 full time, part time and casual Aboriginal employees available to work on IES driven projects or on labour hire contracts to other companies.
IES enviro-scapes aims to constantly ‘up skill’ its workforce through a combination of formal
training programs and work experience.
Commitment to Training
To ensure all IES enviro-scapes employees and contractors are aware of their responsibilities and receive a high standard of training and instruction, we provide comprehensive internal and external training programmes.
These training programmes include but are not limited to:
- Cross Cultural
Awareness Training for all IES employees and contractors including Aboriginal
staff
- Health Surveillance is
an employment prerequisite
- Certificate of Competency
– Machine operation
- Detailed Employee
Induction Programme – incorporates general safety, emergency response
- Detailed Machine
Operation Programme – includes machine training and standard operating
procedures.
- All operating
procedures, manuals and assessment packages are maintained and updated on a
regular basis.
We also offers additional training at our employees’ request.
